Green Lion is a growing dispensary group currently serving the Portland suburbs, with dispensaries in Scappoose and Saint Helens and another on the way in Clackamas.
Green Lion strives to provide an exceptional customer experience. We are seeking a store manager for our busy Saint Helens location with a strong cannabis and customer service coaching background. A collaborative management style, attention to detail and excellent command of OLCC compliance will be essential to this role. We're looking for someone who will come in with excitement, energy, fresh ideas and a sense of urgency to collaborate with the General Manager to set priorities and implement structure and accountability quickly.
The successful candidate will have many of these traits:
Ability to provide and coach exceptional customer service with a warm, welcoming demeanor
Exceptional product knowledge with ability to explain and educate customers and staff on various extraction and processing methods, the key differences between products ie full spectrum vs. isolate, growing methods, entourage effect, profiles and effects of terpenes, etc.
Flexible, largely open availability including nights, weekends, holidays
Collaborative team player, teacher and coach. Previous experience building and mentoring teams a huge plus.
Positive, resilient attitude - embraces change, engages in continuous improvement of policies and procedures
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
Strong familiarity with OLCC compliance rules
Experience in ordering products for cannabis retail including evaluating flower
Experience in inventory management, intake etc.
Ability to form and maintain great relationships with vendors and work together to coordinate clinics for staff, vendor days and other events and collaborations
Familiar with METRC, Greenbits (or similar)
Possess a valid OLCC MJ handlers permit
