The Kitchen Production Associate is responsible for the consistent production of company product while adhering to company’s standard operating procedures. The Kitchen Production Associate is committed to completing work with a focus on quality, consistency, and safety.
Under general supervision, provides the kitchen with clean and sanitary ware.
Performs clean-up activities at end of production
Effectively a floater within the facility, must be comfortable assisting with Packaging duties on a semi-regular basis
Can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; isn’t upset when things are up in the air; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
Able to work independently, accurately, and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
Able to work with confectionary production equipment such as chocolate tempering machinery, and ovens
Preparation of ingredients and maintain an organized inventory
Monitor more than one batch or process simultaneously
Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of work area
Other job duties as assigned
Must have finger, hand and upper body dexterity to grasp dishes; push, pull, carry and lift racks, carts, and large trash bins.
Experience working in a wholesale food production facility is a plus
Ability to stand for long or extended periods of time
Able to work quickly with his/her hands
Comfortable working in a team environment, but also independently
Able to communicate details clearly with other team members
High-level of attention to detail
Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs.
High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
Maintain a professional and positive attitude
